Hi, I'm Carly!

I help busy, stressed out people feel better.

Do you spend time caring for others but don’t take time to care for yourself properly. Perhaps you feel guilty for slowing down or doing something kind for yourself?

Are you tired, stressed and busy with work?

Do you have a busy family life?

Do you put your own needs at the bottom of the ToDo list?

This was me too until I came across yoga. I loved it so much that I after practicing for a few years I trained to become a yoga teacher.

My aim is to encourage, nurture and support you in taking the steps to care for your body and mind to help you become a calmer, healthier, happier human being.

Worried you don’t have a typical “yoga” body?

I get that! I’m not a Skinny Minnie or Bendy Wendy either 🤭

I will show you how to move and support your body as I know how hard it is to show up to a yoga class and not to feel welcome or supported because of the size of your body. I got you! I can help you feel better and more comfortable in your body and my classes are gentle.

With a gentle yoga class we move our body slowly and mindfully, we learn to let go and soften those tense tight areas, we learn how to breath better and we learn to relax without feeling guilty! You deserve to look after yourself for 1 hour a week.

Hatha Yoga (Gentle Yoga)

Rejuvenate your muscles and your mind with a gentle yoga practice focused on reducing stress, and building flexibility and strength. With Hatha yoga, you move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. This practice is open to all (including beginners).

Tues 7-8pm: Stanstead Abbotts
Wed 6-6.50pm: Online, Zoom
Fri 9:30-10.30am: Thundridge
Sun 9:30am: Online, Zoom

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra

A candlelit restorative yoga class is the ultimate treat for rest & relaxation. Deeply relaxing yoga poses supported by props, cushions and blankets with a guided yoga Nidra to finish quite simply is the perfect way to wind down at the end of the month.

Restorative yoga promotes deep rest and relaxation; it is the ideal way to recharge your batteries at the end of the month and is a real treat.

This practice is open to all (including beginners).

Happens on the last Friday of every month in Stanstead Abbotts 7pm – 8:30pm

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai massage – also known as Thai Yoga Massage, or informally as ‘The Lazy Person’s Yoga’ combines assisted yoga with acupressure techniques.

TYM uses an energy line system—the Ten Sen—through which the body’s natural life force flows. Blockages in this life force cause aches, pains and disease.

In a typical session, the therapist uses their hands, feet, and elbows to apply pressure to key points along these energy lines. This is complemented by gentle stretching and applied Hatha Yoga techniques, which help to release blockages, allowing energy to flow freely and restoring the body’s natural healing ability, balance, and harmony.
